About Acrow Span

An acrow span, also called an adjustable span, is a telescopic steel lattice beam that bridges between supports to carry slab shuttering. The inner section slides out of the outer section to match the gap, so one span replaces several props and the timber runners they would need, with no cutting to size.

With fewer props underneath, the floor below stays open for other trades and shuttering goes up faster. Spans sit on props, walls or cuplock staging and are used with centering sheets on residential and commercial slabs, and as bearers for temporary decks during repairs and renovation.
